What We Do

We bring people to the table to represent all the good sustainable work that is out there. Then, we engage stakeholders, develop action plans, and take action by implementing changes to existing systems. We are not the keepers of knowledge, but the connectors to knowledge. This is about creating the Tennessee that we all want to live in: one that’s healthy, strong, equitable, where human and natural systems are aligned and economic growth is fueled by the system’s own abundance. This is achieved through two areas of work:

  1. Our Website

A free community tool, creating equitable capacity for sustainable commerce and collective action. We’re collecting information about the folks doing good sustainability-focused work around Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We’re compiling this information into an easily accessible, public directory. You might have heard, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” Well, we’ll do you one better. “It’s not what you know, it’s who knows what you know.” This comprehensive digital hub includes a Directory of sustainable entities, Job Board, Community Events, and other features. If you are an organization or business and wish to add listings, complete our Registration.

  2. Locally-Informed Action

We talk, listen, facilitate, and then take action with proven results. This is a multi-staged process that begins--but certainly does not end--with talking. We achieve collective action through our variety of programs, hosting reoccurring networking and facilitation Events, and offering Consulting practices.
