Networking
Our networking events create opportunities for organizations and businesses practicing sustainability, to practice and plan collective impact. Ultimately, these collaborations bolster each agency’s mission, strengthening our collective efforts. We currently meet every second Thursday at different spots around Nashville to provide a space for Nashville’s sustainability advocates and professionals to connect. “Because of my affiliation with NSS, I connected with The Nashville Tree Conservation Corps. They approached me about collaborating on planting their trees on our conservation grounds. They have many donors who give trees in memory of people and to find a home to plant the trees can be challenging for them. This collaboration could help us restore our tree canopy and engage people outside the reach of our organization while providing safe habitat for tree planting. It is a potential win-win for Larkspur and for NTCC.”

Facilitation
We work hard to make facilitation events accessible, welcoming, and fair. By facilitating conversations between entities and individuals invested in a sustainable Tennessee, we collectively identify areas of work. Then, we use systems thinking tools and processes in order to figure out what it’s going to take to make the dream real. Together, through community partnerships, we find a solution that we can all feel good about.
